Well here it goes...my very 1st blog entry. I signed up for this "blogger" account over a year ago and just now getting the time to post my very 1st entry. Life with a 1 year old takes up quite a bit of my time, but I have to say not quite as much as having a newborn. So, that simple fact in combination with my growing interest in photography and voila!
My good friend Chelsea and her family graciously agreed to be guinea pigs for my very 1st "shoot" (besides the annual photo shoots my sister and I attempt) and I couldn't ask for a better bunch. Whitley proved to be a bit shy at first, but who could blame her with a camera blatantly shoved in her face. She warmed up before long and all and all I am happy with the pictures I got...after all I am a beginner. I most certainly learned a lot about lighting and can't wait to apply that knowledge to my next willing subjects.
